I just want to tell the story I just want to skip to the end I wish you knew the characters as well as I pretend I heard you flip through the pages I knew you'd hate the plot I tried to bookmark the instant you knew the page was lost Had my fingers crossed, kept the night light on filled the margins with meaning, skimmed the passage for feeling You gave up on reading, you say it's all the same. I recommend trying again, but you say it feels the same. You say you have your reasons, You say I lay the blame. I recommend writing it down but you say it feels the same. I just want to ride the arc, derive a daring part Reinvent narrative stealing, and Plagiarize some classic art. I heard you want to be a witness, I want to watch you be that. I want to print the dialogue that takes your resolution back.

There's a darkness they see in you, it's the halo of someone who's tried. It's a haunting, It's a hymn they sing You're what's left when the night's gone by. It's a brilliance you're showing off, It's what keeps you company. It's a chance to take, it's the deals you make, It's the cause of your wandering. You cut your losses, smudged the glosses, you trim the fat from the offering. You keep moving on, after killing off, whoever's been the one giving. You've been broadcasting and you're wondering How it could be no one's listening. You're like the state of radio, you're in the atmosphere and no one's even tuning in or trying to hear. You're somewhere on the dial now, stressing to be clear, a frequency I can't be near. You must be tired of standing up for yourself I heard you wish for the end of it. But you quote fighters like they were writers, You keep grudges like you take hits.

Precious 02:45
You see them everyday You're not new and when you know them they won't wave to you. Like everything's everything They don't move they've already heard it and they're just... Fixed on the precious, part of the scene. They know about the truth They've read it too but they will tell you like its new. When everyone's everything then nothing's proof that you care at all and they're just.... Fixed on the precious, part of the scene. They'll be new to you but they're not true.

Where the days have gone? I can barely count the ways those little calendar squares they don't make my days. You hear my far away, and you answer wishing I could stay, or get back here It's the little things it's true they make the big things turn to laughter. Staying out and sleeping in only makes the months pass faster. More than a feeling is what I'm hearing It's what we are here. You call me back and I say....

Slow Dance 03:02
You won't write her a letter Up all night, you know better Start a fight in the winter Apologize next November. You Disguise, You'll remember. When she flies next semester. You describe her as weather. You will try to forget her.

It Can Wait 04:57
Plot a death, Plan revenge, Sell them out, Find a wrench. You forgot it can wait, You could make your last mistake. Why? Why try when you know how it's going to end? When you begin to find what you'll defend.

about

After a long Montreal winter, Coco et Co spent the spring months poaching old keyboards and yard sale records to serve as inspiration for their debut recording, St. Denis. A new, minimalist duet project for Andrew Sisk (Share, Sleepless Nights) and his musical partner Miranda Durka; the duo wrote and recorded the album in their empty apartment on the street of the album's namesake.

about

Coco et Co. Montréal, Québec

Coco et Co. are in love with a lot of things: Serge Gainsbourg's inventiveness, Low's harmonies, Sade's feelings, as well as, synths, drum machines, and noisy guitars. They listen to music because they love it. They make music to be a part of what they love.

Influenced by the spiral staircases, excellent coffee, and record store finds they sew together their inspirations to make something new.
